TOP HONORS!!!
Today was the final AR (Accelerated Reader)awards program. I had a total of 41 points. Which means I read somewhere between 80-90 books! I got a backpack tag (key chain) and a cup cake. I also had the most points in the entire Kindergarten class. Below is the video dad shot.

Big Sisterhood - Love it!!!!
Yesterday, I got to hold Reagan for the first time. I even gave up a trip to Chuckie Cheese and Toys R Us with Ms. Traci to wait to see Reagan again before we went home. I spent the night with Ms. Traci and Hart last night and had a big time!
My teacher Ms. Rutledge got me a brag book and I filled it up with pictures. I also had cupcakes for my class today that Ms. Marla helped mom get. I also got to go tell mom's class about the baby and show my pictures to them also.
Ms. Traci took me to get a Big Sister present today after school - I got a pink poodle Webkinz and I named her fluffy. Then Ms. Marla took me back to the hospital to see Reagan. While we were there a lot of the teacher's from my school came to see me. (and Reagan, too)
Grandmaw came to stay with mom and Reagan tonight so dad and I could go home and sleep in our own bed and get the carseat for Reagan's big trip home tomorrow!
I can't wait to play with Reagan tomorrow!

BABY UPDATE
Good 3 almost 4 and 70%. Dr. C wants a few good contractions and then Jo gets her EPIDURAL! Baby by lunch, maybe..
Wes & Leslie
Next in the Baby Week Draft
Wes & Leslie P. take a 8 pounds 11oz 19 inch girl 5/12/08 (section)
So that leaves the Thompsons next on the clock. They have started the pitocin drip now so we'll see how long that takes. Dr. C has dropped the kids off at school and is on her way in.

BABY UPDATE
Today is the day! (For those reading on the blog, dad is posting today Laura is on her way to school with Ms. Traci)
Jo really thought we were going to be able to head out last night about 1:00, but contractions never got closer than 6 or 7 minutes and she dozed off and they quit.
We've been prepped (which means I've found the remote and TV) and are getting antibiotics for the next few hours since the Strep B test was positive at the 37 week visit. They actually let me use my laptop so I should be able to keep everyone updated.
Leslie and Wes cheated and beat us to the hospital! I tried to call their room and got a voice mail - hope everything is alright and Wes was just out to beat the rush - Yeah a rush at 5:00 a.m. At first when I got up I wondered why Jo was watching the "national" NBC broadcast and not the Mornin' Show, then I realized it was the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!! Even if Kay was still on there, she wouldn't be on yet!
For those of you receiving alerts on cell and email, this message is only being sent to the blog and email recipients since it is longer that what I'll send to cell phones.
Next update will be around 10:00 - unless something changes.

A favor for Reagan
Reagan has asked me to post a link to her blog on mine. So here it is:
Click here to visit Reagan's Blog
Once the house is finished, I think we are going to split "my" blog off separate too - and let mom and dad have their own blog.
It will be easier for me to keep up with my stuff. And too, mom and dad can start posting their own stuff and not make me keep you up dated on what they are "too busy" to post.
I'm sure Reagan will have lots of posts over the next few days, but don't forget to check out what I'm doing from time to time!

It is Spring Calving Season!
First entry in the Baby Week Sweepstakes goes to
Mel & James D. 8 pounds 14oz 21.5 inch girl 5/9/08 6:06pm (due 5/4)
Looks like the next ones on the clock will be Wes & Leslie P.
although they don't play fair - [had a zipper installed during the last c-section.] They go in Monday, too. A half-hour after us and probably will be home by lunch. ;-)

A day early and a few cm short...
Ok, mom has cleaned anything that was still or would slow down long enough for her to catch it and the house is ready for a new baby (so we think)
I don't think she slept much last few nights and this morning it was a struggle to go to work.... SO... She convinced Dr. C to see her today instead of tomorrow (in hopes that she'd put her in this week) but no dice!
Dr. C said she's almost 3cm and to go home and rest. If Reagan hasn't punched her ticket by Sunday night, mom & dad are to be at the Woman's Center bright and early Monday 5/12.
So the baby watch continues.

RED LETTER DAY!
What made yesterday such a red-letter day?
1. Jo is to 2cm - so we are now under a Baby Watch for the weekend and next week (we go back to Dr. C Tuesday - if not sooner) Dad did finally get mom to pack her "going to the hospital" bag last night.
2. Second floor rooms all have a coat of paint - LOOKS GREAT! (no pics - too busy looking at paint to make colors)
3. First floor concret floors are being stained and LOOK GREAT! (stained concrete is supposed to be artsy)
4. Contractor only needs a small check this week!!!!!
If the Baby Watch escalates to a Baby Warning well post it here (Can't seem to get National Weather Service to sound sirens for this - don't know why.)
