Cousin Molly was in a wedding after Christmas. She and Morgan came to visit us after the wedding and dad made some pics of Molly in her pretty dress.

Merry Christmas! UPDATED
Santa came! He obviously got our change of address form I sent.
More details and pictures to follow.

Well, I'm going to have to set dad down and get him to show me how to post on this by myself. It is taking him entirely too long to post pictures and updates. Here it is January 17th and he's just now posting pictures from Christmas. I can only imagine if he shot film instead of digital pictures!!!

Tupelo Christmas Parade
Saturday was the Reed's Christmas Parade in Tupelo. Here is a slide show from it.
Dad pushed some button on his "fancy" camera and made half of the pictures in sepia tone.
Oh, well it isn't like Christmas parades are all colorful or anything....

Ketchup anyone?
Now that dad has completed his $40M+ budget project, has the County's assets insured, he and mom have signed countless "bank papers", most of our stuff now spends the night in Tupelo, football season is all but over, it is time for a catch-up blog post. It may take a few days for me to make sure dad gets it right so you may need to read this one several times. I'll try to get him to put "UPDATED" or something on the catch-up post rather than posting too many individual entries. Like the ketchup pic? Notice it is Hunt's and not Heinz... Anyway, here we go:
Looks like the last post was from Molly's birthday party - bet a lot of you thought it was such I blast that we were still to tired to update the blog. It was a great party, but that wasn't what tied everyone up. See, August is a special month - not just because it is Dad's birthday, and Uncle Shane's, and Ms. Beth's and several other people's - NO it is special because that is the month that we press the "hold" button on the Thompson Family lives and work and football season take over. Mom and I went back to school on the 10th and dad's first budget as a County Administrator was due on September 15th - got it done, but whew! what a project. I know everyone wants to know what Reagan was doing - sleeping and pooping. And, staying at Meme Carol's (baby sitter in Tupelo)
Reagan and I really enjoyed the football season this year - we got to play a lot with the Robinson boys and eat a lot of good food. I'll make sure dad posts some of the pictures. I think he made like 2,000,000 this year.
From looking back at some of the earlier posts you will remember we had another little project called BUILDING A HOUSE... Supposed to bring Reagan home to it from hospital - HA! would have been fun seeing how mom would manage that without lights, running water, heat/air conditioning - you know all the little "comforts" Anyway, we were finally able to start calling it home around the middle of October. (I'm still sleeping on the couch and Reagan is sleeping in Mom & Dad's room - cause neither of us have mattresses for our beds - I'm not complaining cause I have the TV where I sleep)
OH - and you better wear "grippie" socks if you come over - these stained concrete floors are S-L-I-C-K! I even have a scar to prove it. Dad was supposed to be giving me a shower, but was putting up curtains and didn't come get me fast enough when I finished my shower (by the way - kudos to Uncle Shane on the shower - looks great!)Anyway, I finished my shower and when I stepped out BAM, down on the concrete I went. That got dad moving... He came in and asked what had happened - duh I FELL!!! He stood me up and was checking to see if anything was broke, which I told him it wasn't, then he looked down - so as to not gross anyone out, I'll just tell you my friend - when you cut your head, it bleeds A LOT!!! After a little drama over not wanting to get stitches I decided we should let a Dr. look at it to make sure I didn't need any. We rode around Tupelo for an hour and a half trying to find somewhere other than the ER to go BUT on Sunday night at 8:30 - you are going to the ER whether you like it or not! No stitches and so far the glue only cost $500. Dad wanted to use duct tape, but that would have required a new hair-do. I have a new appreciation for "wet floor" signs. For those of you who insist on asking about Reagan, she did wake up during my drama over stitches but quickly drifted off to la-la-land, never knew we went to see the "hot" ER Doc. ;-)
Dad has started to settle in at his new job, Mr. Michael now works where dad does and gets to help him do a lot of the stuff he (dad) doesn't want to do. I get to go help every once in a while too. Reagan, not so much. Not a lot she could do - unless daddy needs a paper weight.
Mom is all excited about changes going on at school with a new superintendent and principals etc. etc. etc. Dad keeps telling her to chill that as with most gov't plans - it will change a thousand times before it gets done.
Reagan has a new trick - you can ask her a question and she will nod "yes" Doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is always yes... I hope she sticks with that line of thinking as she gets older. "Will you get out of my room?"-YES "Will you leave me alone?"-YES see-I can work with that.
Like I said I may have to have dad revise some of this over the next few days and I'll try to get some pics posted here pretty soon or at least link to the picasa page. Oh, I almost forgot - I was a witch for Halloween and Reagan was a bumble bee.
